At $29.95 a month, this is the most cost-effective plan for people with average usage of voice calling, text/picture* messaging and data usage. The Talk n Text 1200 plan includes 1,200 domestic voice minutes, 3,000 domestic text messages (SMS) or picture/video messages* (MMS), and 500 megabytes (MB) of data â€“ more of each than the average person uses in a month. It is an especially good plan for people who are paying more per month for unlimited plans yet are not using as many minutes/messages/MB of data as this plan provides. Once activated, this plan will renew automatically every month.
If you use services beyond voice minutes, texts and data included in this plan (e.g., 411 calls, roaming, international voice, international text, premium SMS, excess minutes, texts or data), you will incur additional charges that will reduce your account balance. Therefore, it is important to have a sufficient balance on your renewal date (at least $29.95) in order to renew your Talk n Text 1200 plan.
Starting and Renewing the Talk n Text 1200 Monthly Plan
Whether you are new to Page Plus or an existing Page Plus customer on a different plan (click here for information on switching plans), you must purchase and load an initial Talk n Text 1200 PIN onto your account to subscribe to this plan. Once the plan is active, you can replenish it monthly with additional Talk n Text 1200 PINs, which can be â€œstackedâ€ in advance if you choose.
Optionally, you may renew your plan with Standard plan PINs, provided you carry a sufficient amount on your plan renewal date to renew your plan. Since Standard PINs have the effect of adding a cash balance to your account when you are on an active monthly plan, you can use your cash balance to automatically renew your monthly plan; as cash for additional charged services such as voice roaming; or to add a reserve to your account for â€œoverages.â€ For example, if you run out of data on your plan before your renewal date and want to use more, you can use your cash balance to continue using data at the â€œoverageâ€ rate of the plan. If there is a stacked monthly plan PIN and a sufficient cash balance to renew the plan, the plan will renew from the cash balance before renewing from the stacked PIN.
Alternatively, you can renew your entire plan early by contacting Customer Service at 1-800-550-2436 or via Live Chat and requesting an early renewal. Contacting Customer Service is the ONLY way to do this – simply adding another plan PIN to your account will not automatically renew your plan early. If Customer Service renews your plan early for you, the entire plan of minutes/messages/data will be reset – nothing will roll over, and your new renewal date will be set for one month out.
